In case you missed the additional butter instructions:
When you get home, pour off the buttermilk (liquid surrounding the butter) from your butter jar. Then rinse your butter by adding very cold water to your jar and shaking it. Repeat this several times to remove as much buttermilk as possible. You can even use cheesecloth to squeeze out the excess buttermilk if you would like.
